I first discovered miniature donkeys when we moved out to the country. Every week I would drive by a ranch on the way to the grocery store. They had miniature donkeys, mini horses, and buffalo. I thought these little donkeys were babies and boy where they growing slowly. One day they were right by the gate, I stopped to pet them and darn it, they were full grown donkeys!!! I then saw a sign that said mini donkeys for sale. I zipped home and got on the internet and found quite a few ranches in my area. I went to a ranche to take a look and possibly buy one......came home with three!!! Now, I have donkey fever. They are the most wonderful creatures I have ever dealt with. Plus, they are docile and loving like a dog. And I just LOVE dogs!
